PAYLOAD

Payload is the carrying capacity of an aircraft or launch vehicle, usually measured in terms of weight. A hosted payload is module attach to a commercial satellite, perticularly GEO,with communication circuitry that operate independently of the main spacecraft but which shares the satellite's power supply and Transponders. The payload is the business end of satellite, consisting of Repeater (Microwave recievers,RF multiplexer, power amplifier channel processing and switching) and Antennas(reflectors, feed, feed network, support structre and pointing mechanism)

Main Objective of PAYLOAD :

  • Nanocam C1U: To capture the image from costal/sea area in 10 bit RGGB Bayer pattern.

  • Altimeter: altimeters are used to combine altitude measurements to create accurate topographic maps of both land and ocean surfaces.

  • GPS Module: provides geo location and time information to a GPS receiver anywhere on or near the Earth where there is an unobstructed line of sight to four or more GPS satellites.
